"It went good," Cole said. "I didn't camp at all. I just visited and got a tour. My mom came with me for once. So we just gave her a tour and I went somewhere with coach Hecklinski, just talking with him and getting a little more info about it.
"She likes it a lot. She really don't care about football. She is just about the academics. She liked the academic center. Overall, she liked it a lot."
With Cole making his way to Michigan's campus numerous times already, he said a key part of his visits are to build relationships with the coaching staff.
"Mainly I am looking at the relationship with coaches," Cole said. "Obviously, my major and my relationship with everybody matters too. All the teachers, everything, so I graduate mainly."
What are Cole's overall thoughts on Michigan?
"I like them, but they have me at wide receiver right now," said Cole, who also plays running back for Heritage. "So I would work with coach Hecklinski a lot. I love all the coaches and I good relationship with all of them.
"I would like to visit again. I like it there."
In the meantime, Cole who comes in at 6-foot-2, 199-pounds, is looking to have a huge junior campaign.
"I'm just going to blow up. I'm just going to try to do my thing and remember what comes from god. I'm just going to work my butt off and do what I got to do."
