'16 DE Gordon is Interested in U-M

Saginaw (Mich.) Arthur Hill '16 DE, Lawrence Gordon, talks U-M interest, what he's looking for on his next visit and more.

Saginaw (Mich.) Arthur Hill High sophomore defensive end, Lawrence Gordon, certainly looks the part of a future college defensive lineman. Currently, he comes in at 6-foot-5, 230-pounds, and used those attributes to his advantage at the NFLPD camp in Saginaw last week.

"I'm doing pretty good," said Gordon, on his camp performance. "I am dominating everybody out here. I'm a hardnosed smart player that knows the game of football."

At the moment, Gordon has no offers, but that can soon change, as he is already generating interest from notable Big Ten schools Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State.

"Michigan said they were going to start looking at me," Gordon said. "My interest in them is pretty good. I'm going to keep contact and try to get down there."

A fan of the Wolverines' growing up, Gordon says he will paying particular attention to the defensive lineman when he does visit Ann Arbor again in the future.

"I am going to look at the player playing my position and see how their stance is and technique," Gordon said. "I want to see if they get off the ball good."
