Michigan's go-to receiver in 2013 will be competing for the honor of being called the nation's best at his position. Jeremy Gallon emerged as Michigan's most reliable pass-catcher in 2012, hauling in a team best 49 receptions for 829 yards and four touchdowns. That includes a career-high nine catches for a career-best 145 yards and two touchdowns in the Outback Bowl loss to South Carolina.
Gallon has caught at least one pass in 26 consecutive games, good for a tie for fifth place all time with former Wolverines Amani Toomer and Adrian Arrington. He is Michigan's active leader in career receptions (84), receiving yards (1,331) and receiving touchdowns (eight).
The Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation's most outstanding receiver, will name its semifinalists on November 18, and three finalists on November 25th.
The victor will be announced on December 12th on the Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards Show.
