Your thoughts on coach Brady Hoke saying you're one of more important players on the team?
Beyer: "I think it's just wherever they put me I'm going to try my hardest at. If they are going to switch me, that's fine with me. Whatever the team needs. So wherever they put me, I'm going to try my hardest at."
Is it difficult having multiple responsibilities that you have now?
Beyer: "If you get in your playbook and learnt he plays and be coachable, listen to your coaches when they coach you – I think you can do it. That's what I've done so far. That's helped a lot."
How good was it to get a pass rush going in that UConn game?
Beyer: "Yeah, it felt good. It definitely felt good."
Do you have a different feel at all this week -- because the start of Big Ten play?
Beyer: "It's definitely an exciting week. Especially coming off a bye week. It's going to feel good to get back on there on the field Saturday, especially for Big Ten play."
How have you learned you timing of the snap count on different blitzes?
Beyer: "Part of that just comes with film study and trying to get a jump on when they snap the ball and getting a feel during the game. So definitely doing that. It's a little different coming from a blitz, where they can see it's just D-line and you're just coming off the line, where they are not looking at you as much."
