"I didn't get a chance to talk to them," recalled Edwards. "But they told my coach they're possibly going to come next week maybe for my basketball game."
At 6-foot-6, 230-pounds, Edwards is rated the No. 10 QB in the latest Scout.com player rankings. While he doesn't have an offer from Michigan at the moment, he says the Wolverines are still one of his top schools of interest.
"They are definitely one of my tops schools," Edwards said. "I have always liked Michigan. I think if they offered me a scholarship they would be one of my top schools. But they haven't and hopefully they do. The might come through after bowl season, but as of right now – that's all I got."
"The biggest thing to me is how I fit in that school and how I fit in that system," Edwards said. "The other thing is – how bad does that school want me to go there. I think there interest in me is one of biggest factors in whether I go there or not."
And when or if Edwards makes another trip to Ann Arbor, Mich. for a possible visit, he says talking with the U- coaches is priority No. 1.
"I think I pretty much seen everything during the Big House BBQ," Edwards said. "The one thing I want is to get to know the coaches better and possibly the players."
With one more year of high school to play, Edwards said he wants to make his final decision before his senior season.
