Podcast: UM's Chances of Landing Jaylen Brown

Michigan fans have been extremely skeptical of Michigan’s chances at landing 2015 Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler forward Jaylen Brown, but should they be. GoBlueWolverine’s Sam Webb lays out what the Maize & Blue has going for it in the race for Scout.com’s #1 player

Scout.com National Recruiting Analyst Evan Daniels shared his take on where things stand in the recruitment of the nation's #1 player.

The biggest story in the recruiting world seems to center around the nation's top player -- Jaylen Brown.

The Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler standout managed to get out to California and back without anyone finding out while he was on campus. He was there on Sunday and Monday for an unofficial visit. California hadn’t previously been on his list.

Although his season is over and he's taken multiple visits, Brown, who took his final official visit to Michigan last week, still appears wide open.

"Who knows what he's going to do," one college coach involved told Scout.

The sentiment seems to be that's how most of the schools involved feel. Brown marches to his own beat and is holding his cards close to his vest.

Brown has also taken official trips to Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA and North Carolina. Georgia and Georgia Tech have received unofficial visits.

Brown, a 6-7 wing, has yet to set a timetable for making a college decision.
