Booker Hearing from Big Ten, Talks U-M

2015 CB Titus Booker is a player on the rise in Illinois. He updates his recruitment inside.

With 4.4 forty speed and a 34-inch vertical, Grayslake (Ill.) High 2015 cornerback Titus Booker is a player on the rise on the Midwest. While his athleticism is evident, his skill-set can translate to either side of the ball, but in end, Booker says he wants to play defense.

"I'm seeing myself more as corner," Booker said. "But right now I am still playing running back. I was injured this year, so I only played in like six games. I was limited to just running back. Cause that is where my team needed me. But this year I will be playing more DB, wide receiver and running back."

Currently, Booker holds an offer from Toledo. He is also hearing considerable interest from Iowa, Western Michigan, Syracuse, Northwestern, Illinois and Wisconsin. He said he is planning on visiting the Badgers for their junior day.

At 5-foot-11, 172-pounds, Booker says he hasn't heard any considerable interest from Michigan, but if the Wolverines came knocking he would most certainly listen.

"It would be pretty high," Booker said on if Michigan showed him some interest. "They are a Big Ten school. They have a lot of history to their program. I know they have a lot of pride in what they do. They are really hard working, so that's what I like."

What is Booker looking for in a program: "I'm really looking for a place with a strong family base. And a team that will do whatever it takes to win. And do whatever it takes for each other."

Booker said he would like to make his college decision before his senior season.
