Peoples-Jones Talks Latest in Recruitment

Detroit Cass Tech WR Donovan Peoples-Jones talks schools of interest, the latest with U-M and more.

Detroit Cass Tech wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones is coming off a freshman season where he was able to gain valuable experience on varsity level that most prospects generally never get.

"I was just able to gain some experience," Peoples-Jones said on playing as a freshman. "Just to be able to come in as freshman and learn some things that other freshman wouldn't be able to learn by playing varsity."

At 6-foot-1, 177-pounds, People-Jones says he is already hearing interest from major colleges too. He said he is hearing from Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, North Carolina State and Ohio State. He also noted that he has been to multiple visits to Michigan as well.

"I have been to a couple games (at Michigan)," Peoples-Jones said. "My last visit was the game against Ohio State. That was pretty much the last time I talked with them."

"I love it (in Ann Arbor). My dad went to Michigan. Of course, that's where he wants to me to go. So if Michigan showed interest that would be great."

As far as what he is looking for in program, Peoples-Jones said: "I am looking for a program where I can get play time early. Just a school with great tradition and great legacy."
