It's the second time in the past two weeks the four-star RB had an opportunity to take in Michigan and what they have to offer. And it seems his relationship with the U-M coaching staff continues to get more positive every time he visits.
"Right now we're talking about how big the school is. What it takes to play for the team," Pettaway said on his talks with the U-M coaching staff. "How hard I got to work to get play (at U-M). It's a big priority to play here.
"I think my (relationship with Michigan) is pretty good. Just hoping to get some offer talk into that. I've been up here a few times. I am feeling like I am going to get there eventually."
During his visit, Pettaway said he hoped to take in a Michigan spring football practice.
"I'm just seeing how the team gets around," Pettaway said. "How they practice. How the coaches go about playing. I just want to see how everything is functioning. That's what I am looking for."
And while the Wolverines have yet to offer Peattaway, he did admit if they did extend an offer his way, he would most likely get emotional.
"It would mean a lot to me," Pettaway said. "I would be very happy. I might just shed a tear."
Currently, Pettaway has no offers at the moment. However, he says his top schools of interest are Michigan, Michigan State and Tennessee. He noted he is planning an upcoming visit to MSU in the near future. Other schools he said he would like to visit include Florida, Ohio State, Georgia and Alabama.
