Martin Talks U-M, Possible Spring Game Visit

Detroit Cass Tech '16 OT Ostell Martin discusses his latest U-M visit, hit thoughts on the Wolverines, others schools of interest, his upcoming camp schedule and more.

Cass Tech came in full force to Tom Lemming's annual photo shoot at the Big House last Saturday. It was opportunity for many of the Technicians to checkout Michigan's campus and see what they have to offer.

Ostell Martin was one of the Cass players who made the trip. The 2016 offensive line prospect, who grew up a fan of the Wolverines, said he enjoyed his visit and is looking forward to coming back for another trip to Ann Arbor.

"I plan on attending the spring game," Martin said. "It's a good opportunity for me to see what college is actually like."

What's the message from the U-M coaching staff to Martin?

"They just telling me that they are interested in me," Martin said. "They are telling me to work hard. That's pretty much it."

While Martin has no offers at the moment, he admits a Michigan offer would go a long way in his recruitment.

"It would mean a lot," Martin said on possible Wolverine offer. "I would be extremely happy. This is place I have been looking at since I was real young. I have always liked Michigan. It's just the atmosphere."

Martin says he plans on camping at Michigan, Michigan State and Tennessee this summer. He also planning a visit to Ohio State this April. He also noted he would like to hear from Florida, Florida State and Cincinnati in his recruitment.

As far as what he is looking for in a program, Martin said, "Just a school that can offer me the best place where I can learn. I would like an opportunity to play."
