Dre'Mont Jones Names Top-Three

Cleveland St. Ignatius 2015 defensive end Dre'Mont Jones names his top-three schools. He gives his thoughts on the Wolverines, decision timeline and more.

Cleveland St. Ignatius 2015 defensive end Dre'Mont Jones' stock has been on the rise these past few months.

And three teams are the leaders for his services.

Jones said Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame are "definitely my top-three schools" and should visiting all three in the near future.

The four-star prospect made his way to Michigan a few weeks back, and the Maize & Blue made quite q lasting impression on the Buckeye state star.

"It's a great school," Jones said. "I really appreciate the school. It was a fun time meeting the players and he coaches."

During his visit, Jones was able to checkout Michigan's new look defense and came away with a different view of the Wolverines after his visit.

"I like how they run their defense," Jones said. "I like how they use their rush end. They have different styles and I wasn't really used to seeing that."

Jones also got a chance to meet Michigan defensive coordinator Greg Mattison.

"I really didn't talk to him too much," Jones said on his encounter with Mattison. "We was really just talking about he wants to get to know me more."

Jones said there is chance he may camp this June at Michigan and would like to make his way mack U-M sooner than later.

"I don't know exactly what I am looking for," Jones said. "I guess it's all about comfortability. I don't know when I'm going to visit, but I want to make it as soon as possible."

His thoughts on the Buckeyes: "I think it's a really good school. I appreciate how their team is and their team is in general."

His thoughts on the Irish: "Right now I am just talking to them. I probably end up visiting. I think the visit will be this summer."

While many factors come into play in Jones' final decision, he says campus life, his living quarters and education will be major focuses in his upcoming visits.

As far as a decision timeline, Jones says he is aiming towards a mid-summer decision.
