Rated a three-star prospect, Nagel has heard some interest from the Michigan coaching staff, as well.
"They have come into schools a couple times and I talked to them," Nagel said on U-M. "They kind of told me they want to see me at a camp. I couldn't make it to a camp last year. But I haven't planned out my summer yet. So I don't know what camps I will be doing. But once I do, I'll have a better answer for that."
With Michigan's football camp starting next month, Nagel says he is trying to workout a plan to visit Ann Arbor.
"If can visit Michigan, definitely. Michigan is an unbelievable school," Nagel said. "They definitely would be one I would like to visit if that comes about. I'll just have to play that by ear."
At 5-foot-10, 180-pounds, Nagel says he mostly being recruited as a slot-reciever, but is open to playing any position at the next level.
"Schools are looking at me at wide receiver, some schools have told me slot," Nagel said. "Mostly all the schools have told me I can play slot and outside [receiver]. I'm just kind of make that decision when I go into college and see what the team needs."
Currently, Nagel also other notable offers from Iowa State, Western Michigan, Bowling Green and Miami (Ohio). He says he is planning visits to Duke and Wake Forest this weekend. As far as a decision timeline, Nagel says he has yet tome up with his preferred time of commitment.
