Michigan commit schedule: Week 4

Friday Games

Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech (3-0) at Detroit (Mich.) Douglass (0-3) 4 p.m.

Cass is lead by four-star running back Mike Weber, who committed to Michigan last month. Weber will look to continue his winning ways, as Cass Tech is out to win its third state title in four years. Cass beat Detroit (Mich.) Southeastern 48-0 last week.

Saginaw (Mich.) Heritage (1-2) at Lapeer (Mich.) (3-0) at 7 p.m.

This game features Michigan wide receiver commit Brian Cole, who stars for Heritage. The future Wolverine is looking to rebound, after losing at Midland (Mich.) Dow last week 56-6.

Bloomfield Hills (Mich.) Brother Rice (3-0) at Warren (Mich.) De La Salle 7 p.m.

Bloomfield features future U-M quarterback commit Alex Malzone, who is looking to lead the Warriors to their fourth straight Division 2 state title. Last week, Malzone led the BR to its school record 25th straight victory, as the Warriors defeated Pickerington (Ohio) 28-7. This week, Brother Rice starts league play at rival De La Salle.

Brantford (Ontario) St. Johns at Massillon (Ohio) Washington (3-0) at 7:30 p.m.

Washington’s kicker Andrew David was the first player to commit to the Wolverines’ 2015 class last June. Washington beat Warren (Ohio) Harding 46-24 last Friday.

Troy (Ohio) (1-3) at Wayne (Ohio) Huber Heights (3-0) at 7:30 p.m.

Huber Heights 2015 safety Tyree Kinnel has been committed to Michigan since last August. Wayne is one of the top programs from Ohio.

Centerville (Ohio) (3-0) at Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) (3-0) at 7 p.m.

Michigan 2016 quarterback commit Messiah deWeaver leads Trotwood-Madison. DeWeaver committed to the Wolverines during his camp visit this June. Last week, deWeaver lead Trotwood to a 33-3- victory over Cincinnati (Ohio) Sycamore

Indianapolis (Ind.) Pike (2-2) at Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence Central (1-3) Central at 7 p.m.

Darrin Kirkland, who committed to Michigan this summer. A 2015 prospect, Kirkland was also named to U.S. Army All-American team in late July and is on pace for 150 tackles this season.

Lincolnton (N.C.) West Lincoln (2-2) at Lincolnton (N.C.) (3-1) at 7 p.m.

Lincolnton is led by Michigan’s latest 2015 commit, defensive tackle Darian Roseboro.

Downers Grove (Ill.) South (1-2) at Cicero (Ill.) Morton (1-2) at 7:30 p.m.

South’s offensive tackle Erik Swenson was the first player to commit to Michigan’s 2016 class last November. At 6-foot-7, 285-pounds, he is rated a four-star prospect and is one of the bigger players in the Midwest.

Saturday Games Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall (1-1) at Lawrenceville (N.J.) School (0-0) at 2 p.m.

Lawrenceville opens its season with Choate this Saturday. The Big reds feature 2015 OT commit Grant Newsome, who stands at 6-foot-7, 290-pounds and has been committed to the Wolverines since June.

Greenwich (Conn) Brunswick (0-0) at Avon (Conn.) Old Farms (0-0) at 3 p.m.

This game features Old Farms five-star TE Chris Clark, who is committed to Michigan’s 2015 class. He has been committed to the Wolverines since June.
