Mattison 'Confident' In Effort Moving Forward

Defensive coordinator Greg Mattison addressed the media today as U-M prepare for Indiana this Saturday.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan's defense struggled in their 35-11 loss at No. 8 Michigan State this past Saturday. And U-M defensive coordinator Greg Mattison takes all the blame.

“We’re going to coach as hard, or as harder as we have all year,” Mattison said. “And expect them to play as hard as they have. And I still believe good things will happen for them. There will be no let down, that’s not the way our kids are. And that’s definitely not the way we are. And I have all the confidence in the world that our kids will come out and play their butts off.”

Michigan next will play host to Indiana this Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
