Frank Clark Dismissed From Michigan

Frank Clark has been dismssied from the team today after allegations of domestic abuse.

Senior defensive end Frank Clark was dismissed from the University of Michigan football team today following allegations of domestic abuse with his girlfriend on Saturday in Ohio.

U-M coach Brady Hoke issued statement releasing Clark from team with just two games remaining in his Michigan career.

"Frank Clark has been dismissed for violating team rules from the Michigan football program," Hoke said in a released statement. "This is a tragic situation. Our student-athletes will be held accountable when their actions fail to meet the standard we have at Michigan. There is a legal process that will occur and we respect that process."

The former Wolverine standout was arrested on domestic violence and assault involving his girlfriend, Diamond Hurt, on Saturday evening. Both charges are misdemeanors.
