ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan's (3-0) 71-62 win over Detroit (1-2) didn't come easy Thursday night at Crisler Center but the Wolverines will take it.
Actually trailing 28-27 to the Titans at the half, Michigan turned things on in the second including runs of 10-0 and 11-0 to eventually put Detroit to sleep.
Caris LeVert led the Wolverines in scoring with 21-points including 17 in the second half, also adding nine rebounds. Zak Irvin chipped in 18-points while Derrick Walton Jr. scored 16 to go with six rebounds, Walton Jr. playing all 40 minutes.
Michigan now heads off to Brooklyn to continue along in the Legends Classic, they'll tussle with Oregon (2-0) at 9:30 p.m./est Monday night.
