“I haven’t spoke with Harbaugh, but I have spoke with [defensive assistant Greg] Mattison on Saturday,” Moran said, adding: “[Mattison] basically saying how they want me and that they’ll want me to get up there real soon. Also, how they want to come visit me and how he wants me to get on the phone with coach Harbaugh.”
“They are still my number one,” Moran said. “They stand out to me more than any other school because the tradition of running backs that they have.”
With U-M at the top of his list, the O’Fallon (Ill.) standout wouldn’t indulge on his remaining top schools. Although he did note he is planning to visit Michigan and Arkansas in the near future. And when he finally does make his way to Ann Arbor, he says he wants to sit down with Harbaugh and see what the U-M head man has in store for him.
“I want to see what they have to offer and what coach Harbaugh and his staf have to offer,” Moran said, regarding a possible visit.
As far as the hire of Harbaugh, Moran is more than pleased with the hire.
“I think Harbaugh will do great job at Michigan based on what he’s done at previously at other schools’ Moran said. “I can see he’s a winner. So Michigan should win more and more games. I see a bowl game coming.”
