Signing day is quickly approaching and Michigan is walking through high schools across the country looking to lure several uncommitted and even committed prospects out to Ann Arbor.
This week, Michigan has been in contact with 2015 Napa (Calif.) high school three-star wide receiver Austin Aaron, and the Wolverines plan to be in town in the near future.
“Jay Harbaugh couldn't make it but he is coming by my school next week to talk to me,” Aaron said.
“They are very interested but just need the wide receiver coach to see my film before they make an offer.”
Currently holding a verbal commitment to California, the 6-foot-5, 200-pound Aaron remains open to the new interest from the Wolverines.
“I believe I am firmly committed to Cal,” Aaron said. “A Michigan offer would be awesome and definitely something to consider.”
Following the hire of Jim Harbaugh at Michigan, Aaron believes the Wolverines’ could be a game changer for his recruitment.
“Jim is a phenomenal coach and a winner,” Aaron said. “If I do receive an offer sometime this week I would definitely consider taking a visit to Michigan just to see everything they have to offer.”
Although Michigan wasn’t able to make it to his high school just yet, Aaron is convinced the Wolverines are making him a high priority down the stretch.
