Preview: Michigan to Host Michigan State

Josh Newkirk and Kyle Bogenschutz break down Michigan's four game losing streak and preview Tuesday's home battle with Michigan State.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan State hasn't won at Crisler Center since 2010 and although Michigan is in the middle of a four game losing streak, the Wolverines will look to prevent the Spartans from celebrating in Ann Arbor Tuesday night.

The two in-state rivals met earlier this season on Super Bowl Sunday, Michigan State needing overtime to top Michigan 66-56.

Freshman Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman scored 18-points, as did junior point guard Spike Albrecht in the first meeting with the Spartans. Despite being limited and without Derrick Walton Jr. and Caris LeVert, Michigan showed fight despite coming up short.

Tuesday the Wolverines are hoping to avoid a season sweep as the Spartans walk into Crisler Center for a 9 p.m. tip.
