Top Freshman Offered By Michigan

Memphis (Tenn.) Harding Academy freshman OT Will Lawrence talks Michigan offer, a possible summer camp visit and more.

Memphis (Tenn.) Harding Academy OT Will Lawrence hasn't finished his freshman year of high school yet -- and already holds double digit offers.

The talented 6-foot-4, 265-pounder hold notable offers from USC, Ohio State and Alabama among others and now you can add Michigan to the list of suitors.

"I talked with Coach [Jim] Harbaugh and he said he liked my film and decided to offer me," Lawrence said.

"It was crazy. Michigan is a great program. It's amazing to get an offer by them."

Next up for Lawrence is camping at Michigan this summer.

"I'm thinking about possibly coming up for a camp," he said. "But right now I got so much going on. I am real busy right now. I would definitely try to make up for a camp.

And when he does make to Ann Arbor, he says he know exactly what he wants to do.

"I would to talk with Harbaugh," he said. "I would also like to talk with the offensive line coach. I would like to go around and see the facilities and the academic center. If it is a family environment. If it is a good Christian atmosphere. How good the coaches are and their staff."

As of right now, he says Ole Miss and Texas are his planned visits. However, he says he will probably take others down the road. He also plans on attending the Nike NFTC camp in New Orleans later this month.
