Scout TV: Bryan Mone Looks Forward to Utah

Michigan defensive tackle Bryan Mone looks ahead to the season opener, talks spring progress.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Meeting with media post practice Tuesday, Michigan sophomore defensive tackle Bryan Mone had spots of blood on his white jersey.

Soft spoken but full of personality, Mone was quick to point out that no one made him bleed his own blood.

“You know that’s from somebody else,” Mone said laughing. “I only bleed maize and blue baby.”

Prepping for the spring game coming up on Apr. 4, the Wolverines are also in the process of gearing up for the season opener on Thursday, Sept. 3 in Utah.

For Mone, the trip will be special for many reasons after spending his younger years growing up in the state of Utah.

“Back home baby,” Mone said. “It’s a long way away but I’m just dreaming about it. I can’t wait and I’m just excited.”

Mone discusses spring practice and his progress individually in the video below.
