MCCOOK, Ill. -- An event filled with top prospects, Southfield (Mich.) 2016 LB Will Small showed he belonged at Saturday's Adidas Top Ten Combine.

"I think I did pretty good today," Small said. "I ran a 4.54 [hand timed] 40. I played pretty good in the coverage's. Overall, I did pretty good."

Currently, Michigan is Small's only offer. However, he says Tennessee, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Oregon and Notre Dame are coming on strong.

Next up for small, is a visit to Michigan this Saturday for its annual spring game.

"I like Coach Harbaugh, he's a very down to earth person, Small said. "Coach Chris Partridge has been my main contact with them. I have visited two times since I got the offer, and I'm going back next week for their spring game.

"I still have a good vibe with them. They are at the top of my list. I love the school. My parents love the school. We're from Michigan."

And Small knows exactly what he wants to see during his visit.

"I just to see them flying around," Small said. "I want to see them playing physical as a family, as a team. Somebody who is not just looking at players but guys who can actually play together as a team."

Regardless of the program, Small admits he is looking for certain characteristics in his future school.
