"We didn't see much of the complex or anything. But we did get to meet coach [Jim] Harbaugh, Jay Harbaugh. I got to talked with Greg Mattison, which was very nice," Joseph said. "Overall Michigan was very nice."
"It was strictly interest," Joseph said. "They were glad I came down for sure. Me and the D-line coach had a pretty good conversation. We walked a lot of football.
"I'm pretty sure he said he was going to come out and see practice once in April once they are officially able to go see players," Joseph said. "He said from there he would get to know me."
However, he did admit a U-M offer would go a long way into his recruitment.
"It would mean a lot considering all the schools that offered me," Joseph said. "They'll definitely be a school in the running with all the other schools. Which is great. just being able to have more opportunities and more options open to you is just great."
Joseph says his notable offers include: Stanford, Penn State, Vanderbilt, Duke, Michigan State, Nebraska and Iowa. He also says he doesn't have a timetable for his commitment. Although, he does know what he is looking for in a program.
"I would say family type environment for sure," Joseph said. "Just making sure I can fit in. And do what i got to do on and off the field. Just become a better person amongst men. Just be part of a team that wants to do work on and off the field for sure."
