During his stop at Michigan, however, the Acworth (Ga.) Allatoonna standout took kindly to his forst meeting with U-M RB coach Tyrone Wheatley.
"It was great," Halimon said. "I talked with Coach Wheatley. He said he wanted to offer me, but wanted to show Coach Harbaugh my film. So they are probably going to call me next week with the offer."
If offered, where would Michigan stand in his recruitment?
"Probably a commitment," Halimon said with a smile.
Joking aside, he went on to say: "I mean, I'm originally from Detroit. Growing up Michigan was always my dream school. They will definitely be considered far as finding my home for four years, getting my degree."
The visit also gave the 5-foot-10, 185-pounder his chance to soak up the school and what it has to offer.
"I talked with all of the coaches, went on the field and checked out the locker room," Halimon said. "We did everything basically.
Halimon continued: "Really, there isn't much to learn [about Michigan)," Holiman said. "I know their offense. I already pretty much know everything. This is my second going up there. I went up there last year.
