Dukes Describes Lone Touchdown Catch

Michigan redshirt sophomore wide receiver Jaron Dukes discusses spring game touchdown, his progression at the position this spring.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan's offensive attack wasn't exactly a scoring machine in Saturday's spring football game.

The lone touchdown of the day came on junior Shane Morris' 14-yard completion to redshirt sophomore wide receiver Jaron Dukes, who tip toed his way into the end zone. The score ended up securing the 7-0 win for Team Blue.

"I'm just fortunate enough to make that play," Dukes said. "It feels good cause it was great defense by Dennis Norfleet. Being able to get off the line, seeing the ball last minute and still being able to make a play, then tight roping it. It just felt really good."

After redshirting in 2013, the 6-foot-4, 204-pound Dukes did not catch a pass in 2014. Dukes discusses his spring with the Wolverines in the video below.
