BTN Says Michigan at Maryland in Primetime

Big Ten Network announced Michigan's Oct. 3 trip to Maryland will be a night game in 2015.

Michigan officially has two road night games on the 2015 schedule now after Big Ten Network announced the Wolverines Oct. 3 match-up with Maryland will be a primetime kickoff. Both Michigan and Maryland are in the Big Ten East Division.

The Wolverines (5-7) fell to the Terrapins (7-6) at home in 2014, a 23-16 final in November that kept Michigan from gaining bowl eligibility prior to the season finale at Ohio State.

Michigan opens the season at Utah on Thursday, Sept. 3, also a primetime battle to kickoff the college football season.

Although it has yet to be released, Michigan is expected to have yet another night game at the big house in 2015 as well.

The rest of the Big Ten Network primetime schedule reads as follows:

Sept. 12: South Alabama at Nebraska

Sept. 19: Rutgers at Penn State

Sept. 26: Hawaii at Wisconsin

Oct. 10: Michigan State at Rutgers

Nov. 14: Minnesota at Iowa
