Stepherson: Michigan Offer 'Stands Out'

Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast 2016 WR Kevin Stepherson reacts to his offer from Michigan, if he plans to visit, his relationship with the coaching staff and more.

Just days after receiving an offer from Notre Dame, 2016 wide receiver Kevin Stepherson didn't think it could get much better. Then, well, he received an offer from Michigan.

"I'm excited about every offer that I get," said Stepherson, who stars at Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast. "But everybody knows about Michigan. Everybody knows how big the school is. It's definitely a school that stands out amongst the rest. But yeah, me and my family we were excited."

Now that he has an offer from the Wolverines, Stepherson says likes everything the school has to offer so far.

"My early read is the school is great," he said. "I know everything about their academic program. They're success at football. I've been establishing a little bit of a relationship with the coaches, too."

Next up Stpeherson says is a possible visit to see what Michigan is all about.

"We are actually talking about visiting Michigan," he said. "I really want to visit Michigan. It is a problem getting up there. My parents will try to find a way up there."

And when he does, he admits he wants to continue to build his relationship with Michigan's coaching staff.

"I just want to establish a relationship with the head coach," he said. "I know it's really important to establish a good relationship with your coaches. I'm looking forward to that good environment. That environment that I can live in. That environment where I can spend three years of my life at."

Already, Stepherson has been on campus visits to UCF, Florida and North Carolina. He says he's planning a trip to LSU in the near future, and plans to spend one of his official visits to Notre Dame.

Stepherson plans on announcing his college choice after his senior season. He also plans on graduating early to enroll in school this January.
