In fact, Michigan assistant Jedd Fisch stopped by last week for in-school visit to check in on the three-star standout.
"It was good to meet him for the first time," he said of Fisch. "So when I get out [to Michigan] I'll be more comfortable. I'll know coach Fisch when I go out there for a visit. ... They pretty much said they are interested."
While no offer was made during Fisch's visit, Domann says a potential offer could come his way when takes a visit to Michigan this summer.
"They just want me on campus and see what I can get myself into," he said on a potential visit. "Meet the coaching staff and all that good stuff."
And offer from Michigan would definitely go a long way in his recruitment, Domann says.
"That definitely mixes things up a lot," he admitted. "Especially if I just click with the coaches. Which I'm sure I will. Coach Fisch and I had a talk and he's a really good guy. I don't know where it would be on my board. But that would be pretty sweet.
"I do need to get on the phone with their defensive staff again and see where they're at -- because I don't know. It would have to be a lot of interest for them to come out the second day they can. Will see what happens, I really have no idea what they are thinking."
"I got to wait it out [my decision], but also be proactive with getting out to schools," he said.
Why? Well, Domann says he plans on making his final decision sometime this summer.
"That's why sooner the better with some of these schools. I know some of these bigger schools are slower process for guys like me -- three-stars from Colorado. But the sooner the better. I want to make my decision in July. Because I want to be 100 percent focused on my school team and winning a third straight state championship."
