While he's not made of steel, he looks the part of a bigger guard with his 6-foot-4, 205-pound frame.
Top schools have taken notice of his physical style of play as well. He already holds notable offers from Purdue, Butler and Florida State, and says one more may be on the horizon from Michigan if he visits there this June.
"I just want to see how the campus is," he said. "Just ask players how they like it up there. I just want to how their style of play is."
And if the Wolverines were to offer during his visit?
"It would mean a lot to me," he said. "My dad is a big fan of Michigan. But I'm not going to go commit there because my dad is a big fan. My options are still open. I'm going to see what else comes."
As for himself, Cumberland says he sees himself as a shooting guard-small forward combo.
"I'm a guy who can play outside and can play inside," he said.
At the moment, he has no set date for his commitment.
