"I know a lot of information about Michigan," he said. "I truly want to get down there and see how the atmosphere is at game time, and stuff like that.
"I have a high interest in Michigan. I mean, I really haven't sat down and looked at the schools that I want to go to, and what schools I am really interested in -- because I haven't visited all of them."
Michigan, however, has made it a point to visit Cuffee.
"Actually Coach Durkin and Coach Mattison were by my school [on Thursday]," he said. "They just gave their card with numbers on it and stuff. They told my coach to tell me to come to their [satellite] camp in June. I'll be down there to check it out and see how things go."
Cuffee, who noted he will be attending Michigan's satellite camp in Dallas, says the message from Durkin and Mattison is they need him at Michigan.
"They was just telling me they need DB's at Michigan," he said. "Right now they don't have very many DB's. They were telling me things like that and a lot of great things."
Is part of their message early playing time at Michigan?
"Yeah, it is," he said. "I know that is what the recruiting thing is to tell you you're going to play early. But I really don't get into that. I just go to the school and do what I have to do to play. It really doesn't matter."
Upcoming, Cuffee says he has planned visits to most of the ACC, SEC, Michigan and Notre Dame during this summer and for his official visits.
At the moment, Cuffee is tentatively planning his commitment announcement at the Under Armour All-American Game.
