SMSB: U-M has One Shot to Impress Victor

Michigan hasn’t been much of a factor in the recruitment of 2016 Coconut Creek (Fla.) wide receiver Binjimen Victor, but Jim Harbaugh & company will try to change that today.

One of Florida’s premiere playmakers in Coconut Creek (Fla.) junior wide receiver Binjimen Victor headed up to the Great Lake State for the Sound Mind Sound Body camp with a host of his teammates and coaches. After displaying those long arms, big hands, and impressive athleticism at camp, the Sunshine State standout planned to quickly hit the unofficial visit road once again.  He confirmed via twitter late last night that his day would start with a trip to Ohio State. In the afternoon he will visit the Buckeyes’ arch rivals

“My teammates, coaches and me are going up to Michigan tomorrow,” Victor told The Michigan Insider. “Hopefully I can see new things and experience new things because I have never been up here. I just want to meet the coaching staff and have a great time.”

The Wolverines extended an offer out to the lanky 6-4, 174-pounder last spring, but they apparently haven’t been much of a factor in his recruitment since.

“I haven’t talked to Michigan really that much, but they have been by (my school) since last summer," said Victor. "I don’t know too much about Michigan, but I want to learn more about them and just experience new things. I want to see the campus, coaching staff and how they are going to use me.”

For Harbaugh & company this will be an all or nothing visit. Victor has already narrowed down his long list of suitors. This trip will determine whether the Maize & Blue will change that.

“I got a top four of Tennessee, Ohio State, Florida and Georgia, but it could change,” said Victor. “Yeah, (Michigan) could make my list, but they got to bring it to the table.”

Victor with his teammates and coaches will also be checking out Michigan State tomorrow as well
