His offer from Michigan is already paying off for the Wolverines, Green says.
Why? Well, because of his budding relationship with U-M coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff. P> "I showed up to their camp [at Tampa]. I liked being there with Coach Harbaugh," Green said. "He brought a lot of energy to the camp. Talking with Coach Fisch, I got a good relationship with him. So I wanted to let him know I wanted to come up here soon to see the campus."
Green added: “Harbaugh is a good person. I’ll keep in touch with him and get a good relationship and you never know, see what moves I make next. My overall vibe is really good [with U-M]. I'm enjoying it so far. I'm trying to meet the coaches a little bit better."
Next up, hopefully, Green says he wants to take a trip to Ann Arbor, Mich., to see what Michigan has to offer.
"When I make that trip, I want to have a nice chat with the coaches and ask them how it's going to be education-wise," Green said. "How much will I be able to see my family. What's going to be best for me if I made the decision to go there.
"I just got to be comfortable there with everything. I got to get used to it. I just want to be around a good environment basically. I don't like being around bad things."
As far as schools that are sticking out early in his recruitment, Green noted a few of his early standouts.
Upcoming, Green says he will be visiting Ohio State later this month and Michigan in July.
