Michigan Among McKeon's Top Schools

Michigan made a strong impression on 2016 Dudley (Mass.) Shepherd Hill TE Sean McKeon during his first visit to Ann Arbor yesterday.

There was no rest for what is likely a weary in Michigan coaching staff Saturday, as they hosted several prospects for on campus visits. One of those visitors was Dudley (Mass.) Shepherd Hill junior tight end Sean McKeon.

“It was great,” McKeon told The Michigan Insider. “I was very impressed with the coaches, facilities, and campus. Seeing the Big House was very cool. I had always heard it was huge, but seeing it in person was awesome. I was very impressed and I hope to come back soon.”

While touring the facilities the 6-5, 226-pounder did more than take in the sights.  He got a better feel for the men that would serve as his coaches.

“I talked a lot with Jay Harbaugh about what the tight end does and (about) building a relationship,” said McKeon. “I also met with Jim Harbaugh who told me he wants me to be a part of the team and Tim Drevno said he was glad I made the trip and was very impressed with my tape.”

After a successful trip to Ann Arbor the Wolverines definitely saw their chances of landing the three-star prospect rise significantly.

“I’m very interested in Michigan,” said McKeon. “The visit helps a lot because now I have a great picture of the school and know the coaches better. They are one of my top schools. My top list in no order is Michigan, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Virginia. I will decide by the end of June.”

McKeon will be visiting Virginia and Virginia Tech next weekend
