One of the hottest prospects in the Lone Star State is Waco (Tex.) standout Eric Cuffee. The four-star cornerback has compiled an offer list that reads like a who’s who of college football. It’s also a list that hasn’t been put in any order yet. Michigan is among the schools jockeying for position, and the Wolverines recently helped their cause when the four-star cornerback made his way to their Dallas satellite camp.
“They fit in very strongly,” replied Cuffee when asked where the Maize & Blue fits in his recruitment. “I’m very interested in Michigan. That’s pretty much all I can say.”
Like a few other youngsters in attendance, Cuffee’ already busy training schedule caused him to pass of participating in the camp physically, but he took mental reps during every drill. And there was another purpose for his presence.
“I just wanted to meet the coaching staff and see them in person,” he said.
“I think they’re great coaches. I thought that all along before I met with them.”
