Oh yeah, he also noted he might be taking a visit to Michigan – again – to check out Wolverines.
In fact, he took his first visit to U-M’s campus in late March, and the Michigan coaching staff is starting to recruit the four-star CB with its top defensive coach.
“I just started talking to (defensive coordinator) D.J. Durkin,” Fuller said. “He switched over as my main recruiter (earlier this month).”
Before that, Fuller says recruiting coordinator Chris Partridge had been his main recruiter from Michigan. While he’s not his main recruiter anymore, he admits they have already started a good relationship.
“He is a very cool guy, very honest,” Fuller said of Partridge. “He’s a New Jersey guy, too. I can relate to him a lot.”
“I know all the guys who have committed (to Michigan),” he said. “We have a group chat and connect through there.”
Although, he admits, their chat isn’t all about football or specifically about attending Michigan.
“Not exactly talking about going to the same schools, but talking about recruitment. It’s not always about football,” he said.
As far as his deciding factors when he’s looking at a program, Fuller says: “Just overall comfort with the coaches. The campus, the atmosphere there.”
“I know how well they treat him,” he said of UCLA. “I know all the interworking of the program. I know a lot about them. So it helps.”
As of right now, Fuller plans to make his final decision close to signing day.
