In this exclusive Scout spotlight video is Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis four-star running back Chris Evans. The Scout 300 Michigan commitment is ranked the #10 running back nationally and the #168 prospect overall.
During this spotlight video you'll see the 5-10, 195-pounder routinely reel off long running plays that end with him crossing the goal line. You'll also see him lining up in the backfield and in the slot, which is the position for which the Wolverines covet him most. Jim Harbaugh & company will look to utilize Evans in much the same way Ben Davis does... sending Evans out on pass routes, having him run jet sweeps, and at times he will likely take handoffs from the backfield. The name of the game will be getting him touches in a multitude of ways, especially in space, once he earns his way onto the playing field.
For his part Evans’ take on how he is used has been pretty consistent.
"I think I'm best at wherever my team needs me to play,“ Evans told Scout.com previously. “So I'm going to give 100% to my team and to where my coach needs me to play."
In this two minute video not only will you see what kind of player he is, but you'll also hear him describe his game in his own words.
