ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Thanks to another solid week of football, the Michigan football program has continued its upward climb on the polls.
Coupled with its 28-0 shutout victory of Maryland over the weekend and a few teams ahead taking losses, the Wolverines have found itself ranked number 18 on the latest AP Poll. U-M was ranked number 22 last week.
U-M's next opponent, Northwestern (5-0), rose three spots to number 13 this week.
The Wolverines have also found itself ranked on the coaches poll for the first time this season as well. Finishing just outside the top 25 last week, U-M is currently ranked number 21.
The Wolverines will host Northwestern on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
