ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Another impressive win against a ranked opponent means a continued climb on the polls. This was the case for Michigan after its 38-0 victory against Northwestern over the weekend.
The Wolverines was listed as the biggest riser on the USA TODAY Coaches Poll this weekend. U-M rose seven spots to number 14 this week. Ohio State continues to be ranked as the number one team in the nation by the coaches and Michigan State fell one spot to number four.
U-M also saw itself rise on the AP Poll again this week. The Wolverines gained two spots on the polls to number 12 this week, which sets up a huge battled between the number seven ranked team in the country against Michigan State.
The Buckeyes retain the number one spot in the country for another week. Iowa (17) and Northwestern (20) also appeared on the AP Poll this week.
