DETROIT – At the moment Lavert Hill is committed to Penn State.
However, that hasn’t stopped the Detroit (Mich.) King standout from taking another trip to Ann Arbor, as he was on hand during Michigan’s impressive 38-0 win against Northwestern on Saturday.
“It was pretty good,” Hill said of his U-M visit. “I still think about the experience, how live it was. It was just an awesome game to see.
“Just the whole defense, the defense is playing very good. I just like their defense.”
During his visit, Hill says it also gave him a chance to connect with U-M’s coaching staff.
“I had talked to them at the game, Coach (Zordich) and Coach Durkin,” Hill recalled “And they just told me they want me here and they’re ready when I’m ready.”
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has also made it a point to connect Hill, he says, noting that he calls him on daily basis.
