ANN ARBOR, Mich. – When the dust settled, Michigan simply had no answer for Ohio State’s run game.

In fact, OSU ran for 369 yards against the Big Ten’s top-ranked defense, as the No. 8 Buckeyes defeated No. 10 Michigan 42-13 on Saturday. 

Star OSU running back Ezekiel Elliott ran for 214 yards on 30 carries with two touchdowns. OSU quarterback J.T. Barrett was just as affective, finishing with 139 yards rushing on 19 carries with three touchdowns. 

OSU led 14-10 at the half.

Barrett would lead OSU to four straight touchdown drives in the second half. Ohio State would finish with 482 total yards.

Barrett, who is known more for his running ability, threw for 113 yards, completing 9-of-15 passes with one touchdown thrown.

OSU finished with 25 first downs to U-M's 20.
