Per his Twitter account, Detroit (Mich.) King 2016 cornerback Lavert Hill is no longer committed to Penn Sate.
Hill, who had been committed to PSU since January, made his announcement ironically moments after an in-home visit from Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and secondary coach Michael Zordich.
“It went pretty good,” Hill said when asked about his in-home visit from Michigan. “They were just saying that they want me there.”
And what was the message from Harbaugh? Well, Hill says his main message was that he wants him to be part of the “change” in Michigan football. “(Harbaugh) and Coach Zordich said a lot of things are changing, ‘This is Michigan football,’ and stuff like that.”
Adding: “His plan with me is that he wants me there and he won’t stop recruiting me.”
Hill’s brother, Delano Hill, is currently a junior safety on Michigan’s roster. On Saturday, Hill made his way up to Ann Arbor to watch his brother play and checkout the Michigan-Ohio State game.
“It was a pretty good atmosphere,” Hill said of his visit to Michigan. “The rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State is pretty good. It was pretty good watching him play and how the game went.”
Hill also holds notable offers from Michigan State, Tennessee, Texas and Ohio State.
