Through 12 games played, Peppers defensively finished with 45 tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss with 10 pass break ups, which was second on the team.

As U-M’s primary punt returner, Peppers was also named All-Big Ten second team return specialist. He finished with 194 punt return yards to go along with his 223 kick return yards.
