ORLANDO, Fla. -- Fort Worth (Texas) South Hills 2017 wide receiver Tylan Wallace is player on the rise, and top schools have taken notice by extending offers his way.
“Most recent I had Michigan Wolverines Oklahoma, Maryland and Oregon came by, they are just talking to me right now,” Wallace said.
Michigan is one school the Lone Star State standout says he wants to look into more as his recruitment unfolds.
“I know Michigan, they are a pretty good football program,” Wallace said. “I think I would like to look more into them, though. I definitely would like to try to get up there for a visit.”
If or when he does visit Michigan, Wallace says it will give him a chance to rekindle his relationship with U-M coach Jim Harbaugh, who Wallace met during Michigan’s satellite camps tour this past summer in Texas.
“Harbaugh coached the (San Francisco) 49ers and stuff like that,” Wallace said. “He’s a good coach. I went to the Michigan camp over the summer, the satellite camp, and I got to talk to him a little bit. He was pretty cool.”
Adding: “I think I could play for him.”
Wallace has already been on campus visits to OU, SMU and Oklahoma State.
“I am looking for basically a team that plays together as a family,” Wallace said. “A team that has a good coaching staff. Really, just a team that bonds well together.”
