ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan will be without one of its most experienced defensive lineman next season after Willie Henry announced on Wednesday that he will forgo his final season at U-M and will enter the NFL Draft.
Henry announced his intentions via his Twitter account.
"We've had a long and exciting journey together," the social media post read. "For the past few years at the University all of you have been like a second family to me. I can't thank you enough for that."
Henry finished the 2015 season with 34 total tackles, six and a half sacks and 10 tackles for loss.
Henry was a three-star recruit when he committed to the Wolverines in 2011. He was the second-ranked defensive tackle recruit in the state of Ohio and was ranked 38 in his position in the entire country.
This is a developing story.
