Four-star wide 2017 wide receiver Terrell Bynum already holds offers from notable Pac-12 schools USC, UCLA and Arizona to name a few. However, just last week he received a huge offer from the Big Ten, when Michigan extended a scholarship his way.
“(U-M offensive coordinator Tim) Drevno offered me and it was very exciting,” Bynum said. “Because Michigan has an amazing program with great coaching and I could leave with an amazing degree.”
Now that he has an offer in hand, the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco standout says he plans to checkout Ann Arbor, Mich., this summer with one of his high school teammates.
“I was planning on visiting in the summer with (five-star OG) Wyatt Davis,” Bynum said. “And I would love to meet the whole staff and the see the campus and get a vibe of the place.”
And with Michigan coming off a 10-3 season under first year head coach Jim Harbaugh, Bynum admits he liked what he saw on the field.
“They win and get the ball to their playmakers,” Bynum said. “They utilize their wide receivers inside and outside to cause good match ups.”
Being a California native, Bynum says distance will not play a factor in his decision. Already he has been on campus visits to USC, UCLA, and Washington. He says he plans on checking out UW and Stanford in the near future.
As far as a decision timeline, Bynum is aiming towards this summer as a possible commitment timeframe.
