Signing Day was a pretty good day for the Wolverines, now it's gotten even better.
Four-star tight end Devin Asiasi (Concord, CA) announced he has committed to Michigan, making him the third tight end in the 2016 class. After an official visit to Ann Arbor, it was clear that the Wolverines made a big impression on the young tight end.
"It was a great visit, I really enjoyed myself there," Asiasi said after his official visit. "The two biggest things that stood out were talking with TE Coach Jay Harbaugh and being around the players on the team.
"Coach Harbaugh was awesome. We sat down and watched film and I love how they use the tight end. They have a lot of different formations and move him around all over the field. The players there were great with me all weekend as well. It felt like a family there, they really took me in and the overall atmosphere was great. I had a great comfort level with everyone so it was a lot of fun."
Asiasi is currently ranked the number four tight end in the country and is the number one tight end in the state of California.
