BRADENTON, Florida -- Michigan's spring break plans have been heavily covered over the past few weeks. Now that U-M has finally made its way to Florida for spring practice, others are starting to take notice as well.
Most notably coaches around the country.
Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema started the Twitter storm by hinting at possibly visiting U-M's open practice at IMG on Friday with his staff.
Next, in somewhat unsurprising fashion, Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio joined in and tweeted to Bielema asking to join him.
Finally, and not to be outdone, Tenneessee coach Butch Jones joined in on the fun.
Are there any rules in particular that prevent other coaching staffs from visiting the spring practice at IMG on Friday? None, according to ESPN writer Andrea Adelson who reached out to IMG for comment.
Whether other programs show up for the sights and sounds of U-M's spring practice remain to be seen, with clear reign to show up and sit in the stands with everyone else, Bielema has a chance to scout his opening day opponent in 2018 a little early.
