It took only a week for Florence (Ala.) junior safety J’Marick Woods to return to Ann Arbor after committing to Michigan. Visiting for their annual spring game, his latest visit had a much more calm and laid back feel for the talented Wolverine pledge.
“It was amazing,” Woods told The Michigan Insider. “Just really talked to everyone and made myself at home. I talked with Coach Bam, Coach Smith and Coach Brown. They really just congratulated me on my commitment. It was real relaxing. I got a chance to feel at home.”
The 6-4, 196-pounder wasn’t the only Maize and Blue commit in town as most of the class made their way to see the Wolverines, but Woods also took this opportunity to not only connect with them, but other un-committed prospects too.
“It was nice to socialize with them,” said Woods. “I did recruit a few prospects. We all felt comfortable with Michigan. Me personally I recruited defensive and offensive players.”
With this visit to Michigan, it only reassured to Woods that he made the right decision.
“The trip was amazing and it sealed the deal,” said Woods.
