Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County 2018 safety Otis Reese had been one of Georgia's under-the-radar prospects with early offers from Central Michigan, Troy, and Lousiville, but his prospect profile changed considerably Tuesday when he added his biggest offer to date.
“I talked to Michigan Coach, Coach Partridge,” Reese told The Michigan Insider. "(I'm) Happy and (it's) a blessing to just be offered by Michigan."
The offer caught the Peach State product by surprise since "(Tuesday) was the only day I talked with him.”
Now the 6-2 190-pounder is chomping at the bit to learn more about his newest suitor.
“I’m very interested,” said Reese. “It is a good place and love Charles Woodson."
The talented youngster plans to make his way to Ann Arbor at some point, but even before that the Wolverines have seized a prominent position in his recruitment.
“Michigan is my leader because I love their coaches and people," he said. "I just can't wait get down there.”
