2017 four-star offensive lineman Aaron Banks (El Cerrito, CA) has been busy on the recruiting trail. Seeing his offer total rise to 26 schools, he added a Michigan offer to that pile a couple months ago during his basketball season. An offer Brooks says that took him completely surprised.
Now that the Michigan offer is under his belt, Banks says that he has been maintaining contact with the Wolverines coaching staff often. In fact, he says, they are the one coaching staff that sticks out the most in terms of communication.

“Mostly coach Drevno, Coach Jay (Harbaugh) and a little bit of Coach (Jim) Harbaugh here and there," Banks told The Michigan Insider. "(I've had) steady contact, I’ve been in contact with the coaches often. Twitter and all that, it’s probably one of the schools I’m in contact the most.”
The 6-foot-6, 335-pound offensive lineman doesn't know too much about Michigan but knows that the major he wants to pursue, automotive engineering, can be found at Michigan
"I like Coach Drevno, Coach Jay and Coach Harbaugh, they’re all good guys," Banks said. "I don’t know too much about the school but I do know they have the major I want, so that’s a plus. I heard the food is pretty good out there, too.”
Food, of course, is one of the major selling points for a school with Banks.
In terms of future visit plans, Banks is unsure whether he will visit Michigan and will have to check with his mother to make that happen. For now, he also does not have any top lists and plans to release a top 10 list this summer and make a commitment to a program sometime during the next football season.Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE
